On December 2013, the Spanish government announced a reform on the current Abortion Law, turning it into one of the most restrictive in the world.
In the event the bill became law, the only way to have had a safe abortion would have been to travel to other countries where their laws allowed for the voluntary interruption of the pregnancy.
To show the consequences the reform would have had on Spanish women, we created Abortion Travel, “the agency that should never exist.” A controversial way of reopening the debate and trying to stop an unjust law that would have left women without the freedom to choose.
